ZW25-8-15 is the smallest pump in our ZW self-priming sewage range. It moves 8 m³/h at 15 m head on a 2.2 kW motor at 2900 r/min, with DN25 suction and discharge flanges.
Does it need a foot valve or priming every time? No. You fill the pump casing once before the first start. After that it keeps enough liquid inside to prime itself, lifting from up to 5.5 m below the pump.
Can it pump dirty water? Yes, that is what the ZW series is for. The impeller and casing passages are open enough for solids up to about 60 % of the port size and fibres up to five times the port size.
Why choose a surface pump rather than a submersible? The pump and motor stay dry and easy to reach. Only the suction pipe goes into the liquid, which helps when the pit is narrow or the liquid is warm, up to 80 °C.
Is it the right size? If you need more than 8 m³/h or more than 15 m, look at the larger models on the ZW series page or try the pump selector.
Need a different flange size to fit your existing pipe? We can build the suction and discharge to suit, so you do not have to add reducers on site.
