QDX3-26-0.75S keeps the small 25 mm outlet and 3 m³/h flow of the 0.55 kW model but adds 8 m of head. It is the model to look at when water has to go up a building or along a longer line.
Say the pump sits 2 m below the floor of a pump room and the water must reach a tank 15 m above that floor. The static lift is 17 m. Add the friction in the pipe, the bends and a valve; on a long small-bore line that can easily be several metres. If the total comes to around 22 m, this pump has a sensible margin. If it is close to 26 m or above, choose a pump with more head or reduce the losses with a larger pipe.
These numbers are only an example. Put your own lengths and heights into our head calculator, or send them to us and we will check.
