When the job is to move a lot of water a short way up, QDX10-12-0.55S is the efficient pick. It delivers 10 m³/h at 12 m head on a 0.55 kW motor, which is the best flow per kilowatt in our single-phase QDX table.
Typical uses are emptying a tank, a pit or a pond into a drain nearby, and low-lift transfer between two tanks on the same level.
Twelve metres is the rated head. If the water has to go up to a roof tank or travel a long way through narrow hose, the flow will drop well below 10 m³/h. For those duties the same 10 m³/h line continues with more head: 16 m on 0.75 kW, 18 m on 1.1 kW, 24 m on 1.5 kW and 34 m on 2.2 kW.
It is also a clean or lightly dirty water pump. Particles must stay at 0.2 mm or below. Site water with mud and grit is a job for our WQ sewage pumps.
