Product Overview

QDX6-24-1.1S pumps 6 m³/h to 24 m head on a 1.1 kW, 220 V motor. Installing it is simple, but a few details decide how long it lasts.

  1. Check the nameplate against your order and your supply: 220 V single-phase.
  2. Connect the 40 mm outlet to the discharge hose or pipe. Support rigid pipe so its weight does not hang on the pump.
  3. Lower the pump by its handle with a rope or chain, never by the power cable.
  4. Keep it no more than 5 m below the surface. Avoid letting it sit in mud at the bottom; the strainer should be in clean water.
  5. Make sure the liquid is within limits: up to 60 °C, pH 4 to 10 for 304 (2 to 13 for 316), solids 0.2 mm or less.
  6. Wire it through a suitable switch and earth connection, then start it and confirm water flows from the outlet.
  7. Do not let it run dry for long. If the water level drops, stop the pump.

That is all it needs. The mechanical seal and the thermal protector look after the rest.
