Wastewater is intermittent, dirty and full of solids — a combination that clogs or wears out most pumps. The QBY takes it in stride: with no close-fitting parts it passes rags, grit and sludge without jamming, self-primes from a dry sump, and can work fully submerged in the pit.
It is equally at home cleaning tank trucks and barges, recovering oily water, and emptying sludge pits — anywhere the flow starts and stops and the fluid is anything but clean.
