Few pumps suit chemical plants as naturally as the QBY. Running on air with no spark and no shaft seal, it moves strong acids, alkalis, solvents and suspensions without leaking or igniting — and it does not care if the tank runs dry between batches.
The trick is matching materials to the medium: a polypropylene or stainless body with a PTFE or FKM diaphragm for the aggressive stuff, cast iron with nitrile for oils and crude. Tell us the fluid and we will specify the exact build, so the pump lasts rather than dissolves.
