The GNWQ series is engineered for two things that matter most in real-world sewage and wastewater applications: resistance to clogging and resistance to corrosion. Non-Clog / Cutting Performance

• Semi-open rotary cutter impeller shreds plastic bags, rags, gloves, diapers, and woven sacks before they can jam the pump
• Cutter blade material: alloy steel (3Cr13), heat-treated for high wear resistance
• Adjustable cutter clearance (typical range 0.2–0.5 mm) to maintain cutting performance over the pump’s service life
• Free passage design minimizes blockages in high-solids wastewater

Corrosion-Resistant Construction

• Available in cast iron (standard duty) or full 316L stainless steel (corrosive/high-pH environments)
• Recommended for applications such as tannery lime washes (pH 12–13), livestock/pig farm wastewater, and chemical process water
• Stainless steel wetted parts resist scaling, pitting, and acid/alkali attack that would degrade standard cast iron over time

APPLICATION NOTES

• In high-concentration slurries (>10% solids, e.g. lime milk), actual flow rate typically drops 15–30% compared to the clean-water performance curve — please size accordingly for your process.
• Cutter disc, impeller, and mechanical seal are wear parts. We recommend ordering a spare parts set alongside your pump for long-term maintenance.
• Cutter clearance should be inspected and re-adjusted periodically to maintain cutting performance.
