A wet end kit groups the wetted wear parts of a WILDEN pump under one part number, so a rebuild can be ordered in one line instead of piece by piece. Wilden lists 498 wet end kits. Choosing the right one takes two pieces of information: the kit family for your pump, and the elastomer code from its build code.
Step 1: the kit family
The middle group of a kit number tells you which pump design it is for:

The first two digits are the size code as usual: 01 for 1/2 inch up to 15 for 3 inch.
Step 2: the elastomer code
The third group of your pump’s build code, for example BNS in P8/AAAPP/BNS/BN/BN, is the same code Wilden uses to label wet end kits. Common codes:

Worked example
A clamped aluminum P8 with build code P8/AAAPP/BNS/BN/BN is an Original clamped metal pump (9804) at 2 inch (08) with the BNS elastomer code. That points to 08-9804-52, Buna-N (BNS). For a bolted P820 with code ZWS, the FIT family at 2 inch gives 08-9824-58-209, Santoprene (ZWS).
Points to watch
A few codes appear on two kits in the same family; FWS is listed on both 08-9804-57 and 08-9804-58-207. In that case we check the full build code before quoting
Metal and plastic pumps of the same model use different kit families (9804 against 9805)
Your nameplate may show an X prefix (for example XPS8); send us the full code and we will confirm the kit
Wet end kits are among the parts we hold in stock. They are 100% genuine WILDEN kits, shipped worldwide, so a planned rebuild does not have to wait on a long lead time.
Send us the build code from the nameplate and we will confirm the kit number. All kits are searchable in our spare parts lookup.
