Product Overview

A WILDEN part number looks cryptic, but it follows a fixed pattern. Once you can read it, you can tell the pump size, the type of part and usually the material at a glance, and you can check whether the part you are about to order matches your pump. Everything below is taken from the 2,179 spare parts and kits listed in Wilden’s current range.

The part number: size, part, material

Take 08-1010-58. It splits into three groups:

GroupExampleMeaning
Size code08The pump port size the part belongs to
Part code1010The type of part
Material suffix58What the part is made of

So 08-1010-58 is a 2 inch diaphragm in Santoprene. 08-1080-52 is a 2 inch valve ball in Buna-N, and 04-1120-53 is a 1-1/2 inch valve seat in FKM.

Common part codes

  • 1010 (also 1020, 1022, 1031, 1040): diaphragms of different designs
  • 1060, 1065: back-up diaphragms, used behind PTFE diaphragms
  • 1080, 1085: valve balls
  • 1120, 1121, 1125, 1128, 1129: valve seats
  • 2000, 2003, 2030, 2039: air valve assemblies
  • 9804 to 9844: wet end kits
  • 9980 to 9994: air repair kits

Material suffixes

52Buna-N04Hastelloy
53FKM08Steel
54EPDM20Polypropylene

56Hytrel57, 58Santoprene

These hold for nearly all diaphragms, balls and seats on the parts list, but there are exceptions, and some numbers carry a further suffix. For example, 08-1010-55 is the PTFE diaphragm for clamped 2 inch pumps and 08-1010-55-42 the one for bolted pumps. Never drop the extra digits when ordering.

The pump build code

The nameplate on the pump carries a build code such as P8/AAAPP/BNS/BN/BN (part number 08-15034). Read it from left to right:

  • P8: the model
  • AAAPP: materials; the first letter is the wetted material: A aluminum, S stainless steel, W cast iron, P polypropylene, K PVDF
  • BNS: the elastomer code, which also names the matching wet end kit; BNS is Buna-N
  • BN / BN: valve ball and valve seat materials
  • An optional last group marks a variant; on stainless pumps, /0070 means Tri-Clamp connections

For that P8, the matching parts are the Buna-N diaphragm 08-1010-52, the Buna-N valve ball 08-1080-52, and the wet end kit 08-9804-52, which is listed for clamped metal P8 pumps with the BNS code.

We keep genuine WILDEN spare parts in stock in our warehouse and ship worldwide. Every part we supply is 100% original WILDEN, so once the number is confirmed there is nothing else to cross-reference.

If the nameplate is worn or missing, send us a photo of the pump and any numbers you can read. Every part and kit number can also be searched in our WILDEN spare parts lookup.
