When a 1-1/2 inch WILDEN pump needs parts, the symptom often tells you which ones. Start from what you see, and the list of parts to order gets short quickly. All part numbers below start with 04, the 1-1/2 inch size code; the full list runs to 508 parts and kits.
A diaphragm has failed. Replace both diaphragms, not just the broken one. Standard 1-1/2 inch diaphragms: 04-1010-50 polyurethane, -51 Neoprene, -52 Buna-N, -53 FKM, -54 EPDM, -56 Hytrel, -58 Santoprene. For PTFE, the number depends on the pump: 04-1010-55 on clamped pumps, 04-1010-55-42 on bolted ones. Pro-Flo SHIFT PS4 diaphragms are also listed as 04-3129-01 (Buna-N), 04-3129-03 (Santoprene) and 04-3129-06 (PTFE).
Look at the valve balls and seats. Balls follow the usual suffixes, 04-1080-50 to 04-1080-58; Stallion pumps take their own Neoprene and Buna-N balls, 04-1080-51-50 and 04-1080-52-50. Seats are where this size gets complicated, with 37 listed: elastomer seats in the 04-1120 and 04-1128 series, metal seats in 04-1121 and 04-1129 (aluminum, stainless steel, Hastelloy, steel), and bolted-pump seats in 04-1125, including 04-1125-20 polypropylene and 04-1125-21 PVDF. Check the seat against your build code before ordering.
Order a wet end kit instead of single parts:
That points to the air side. One useful fact: the 1-1/2 inch and 2 inch pumps share air repair kits. 04-9985-20 covers P4, P400, P420, P430 and the P8 family with a plastic air side; 04-9993-99 covers Pro-Flo SHIFT PS4 to PS830. A Turbo-Flo T4 takes air valve 04-2000-07 and kit 04-9980-07. Check the compressed air supply as well; wet or dirty air shortens air valve life.
