The usual question with a worn air end is whether it needs a new center block or just new seals. It comes down to what the shaft bore looks like. If it’s smooth and the body has no cracks, seals are probably enough. If the bore is scored, there’s a crack anywhere, or the threads have stripped, fit a new block, because nothing you put into a damaged one will seal properly.
