The P1500 is the top of the P range — a 3-inch (76 mm) pump for the biggest jobs an air-operated diaphragm pump can sensibly take on. Mining, heavy wastewater, ceramic slips, bulk chemical: high volume, still passing solids, still shrugging off a dry sump.
Because it’s built for punishment, the metal options go further here — cast iron, ductile iron, stainless, and Alloy C for the really aggressive stuff — and Pro-Flo SHIFT air control keeps the running cost sane on continuous duty.
One thing worth flagging before you buy at this size: the air supply matters. A 3-inch pump only delivers its full flow if you feed it enough compressed air, so when you enquire, tell us the pressure and CFM you’ve got available along with the duty point. We’d rather confirm it’ll perform than have you under-supplied on site.
