WILDEN AODD Pump – Stainless Steel for Food & Beverage Transfer

Stainless steel is the largest material group in Wilden’s range: Wilden lists 745 stainless builds, from the 1/4 inch P.025 to the 3 inch XPS1530. Food, beverage and cosmetic plants mostly use them for syrups, sauces, oils and other products that need a cleanable pump.

Sizes and published flows

• 1/2 inch P1: 14.4 gpm (55 L/min) with PTFE diaphragms
• 1 inch P2: 41 gpm (155 L/min) with PTFE diaphragms
• 1-1/2 inch P4: 81 gpm (307 L/min) with Santoprene diaphragms
• 2 inch P8: 166 gpm (628 L/min) with Santoprene diaphragms
• 3 inch XPS1520 / XPS1530: 271 gpm (1026 L/min)

What to specify

• Connection: NPT threads or Tri-Clamp; Tri-Clamp builds exist for the P1, P2, P4, XPS4, P8, XPS8 and XPS15
• Diaphragm and valve ball material to suit the product and your cleaning chemicals
• Air side material: polypropylene for most duties, aluminum for higher temperatures

Thick products reduce flow, so a larger pump running slowly often works better than a small pump at full speed. Our stainless steel pump lookup lists every build.
