The WILDEN AODD pump runs on compressed air, so there is no motor or electrical component on the pump itself. That, together with its ability to run dry and self-prime, is why air-operated diaphragm pumps are common in oil and gas work.
A standard AODD pump cannot discharge above its air supply, typically up to 125 psi (8.6 bar). For long lines or filter feed, Wilden’s High Pressure series can. Wilden’s sample duty for the 2 inch H800 is 76 L/min (20 gpm) against 8.6 bar (125 psig) discharge pressure using 2.9 bar (42 psig) air.
