This is the smallest model in our QDX stainless steel series. It moves 1.5 m³/h at 17 m head and runs on an ordinary 220 V single-phase supply, so it plugs into the kind of power you find at a house, a farm shed or a small workshop.
Is 1.5 m³/h enough for me? That is 25 litres a minute. It suits topping up a tank, circulating a small pond or emptying a sump slowly. For draining a flooded room quickly, a 10 m³/h model from the same series is the better choice.
What does 17 m head mean in practice? It is the height the pump can lift water at the rated flow. Pipe friction and fittings use up part of it, so add those before you compare. Our head calculator does the sums.
Can it sit in salty or slightly acidic water? The whole pump is precision cast stainless steel. In 304 it handles pH 4 to 10; in 316 it handles pH 2 to 13, which covers seawater and many mild chemical solutions.
How deep can it go? Up to 5 m below the surface, with the liquid at no more than 60 °C.
