When the fluid is a strong acid, alkali or solvent, metal pumps corrode and a polypropylene QBY earns its place. Its reinforced PP wetted path shrugs off aggressive chemistry that would eat aluminium or even stainless steel, at a fraction of the cost of exotic alloys.
PP bodies are offered across the QBY-10 to QBY-100 range, so you can match corrosion resistance to the exact flow you need — from a 0.8 m³/h dosing unit to a 30 m³/h transfer pump. Pair the body with a PTFE or FKM diaphragm for the most demanding solvents, or NBR/Neoprene for general corrosive duty.

A practical note: PP has a lower temperature ceiling than metal (about 120 °C), so for hot corrosives above that, ask us about stainless steel with a PTFE diaphragm instead.
