The aluminium-bodied QBY is the one you can carry to the job. Light enough to move by hand and mount almost anywhere, it keeps the intrinsic safety of an air drive — no motor, no spark — which is exactly what solvent, fuel and paint transfer needs.
It is a favourite for mobile and temporary duties: drum and tank unloading, line changeovers, and workshop transfer where a heavier cast-iron or stainless pump would be overkill. Diaphragms in NBR suit oils and fuels; FKM handles harsher solvents.
