The low-head QW-80-40-7 needs one specific caution the others don’t: don’t let it idle continuously far below its rated head, since current draw climbs fast without enough pipeline resistance to work against. At the top of the range, the 7.5kW model draws enough current that cable cross-section deserves an actual calculation instead of a rule of thumb, particularly over longer runs to the control cabinet.
