The 150QJ fits wells of 150 mm and up and is the workhorse size for irrigation and village supply. The flow size you need decides most of the choice:
Each extra stage adds about 6.5 m of head to a 150QJ20. Building the pump with 4 to 25 stages gives 22 models, from 26 m to 163 m, so you can buy the head you need instead of a much bigger pump throttled back.
Motor power and cable size. A 150QJ20-26/4 needs 3 kW and a 3×4 mm² cable. A 150QJ20-163/25 needs 15 kW and a 3×10 mm² cable. The outlet stays at 50 mm for flows up to 20 m³/h, 65 mm at 25 and 32 m³/h, and 80 mm at 50 m³/h.
