The 50mm size is where GAK auto-coupling becomes available from the factory, which changes the maintenance conversation entirely: instead of pulling the whole pump out by hand, it seats and seals by gravity on guide rails, and comes back up the same way. Nobody has to step into the pit.

The WQ-50 and QW-50 at the same power class exist because flow and head don’t scale together — pick based on whether your site needs to move more volume or lift it further, not on price alone. The guide rails and lifting chain are ordered separately from the pump itself, sized to your actual pit depth; that catches a fair number of first-time buyers who assume it’s bundled.
