A seafood processing plant is a corrosive place for a pump. The effluent is salty (brine, sea water, ice melt), often chilled, and full of scales, guts, shell fragments, skin and fat. Salt eats cast iron, and the solids clog anything with tight passages. The right tool is a stainless steel ZWL direct-coupled self-priming sewage pump.
Sea water and brine make seafood effluent aggressively corrosive — this is textbook stainless steel territory. The stainless ZWL resists the salt where cast iron would rust out fast, and stainless is the hygienic, cleanable material a food plant wants anyway.
