On a pump that runs continuously, the real question isn’t whether wearing parts will eventually fail. It’s whether replacements are on the shelf when they do. Across the WQ, QW and WQ-G range, the mechanical-seal assembly fails first far more often than anything else, followed by O-rings, gaskets and bearings; grinder variants add cutting blades to that list.
Parts are matched to a specific pump model rather than a frame size, so quote requests need the exact model number, not just “the 200mm one.” For continuous-run sites, a wearing-parts review every 2,000-3,000 running hours is a reasonable habit. In an unattended station, a failed seal tends to become a motor problem before anyone notices otherwise, and by then the repair is a different order of cost entirely.
