Product Overview

Standard impellers jam on animal hair, sinew and skin fragments. That’s the problem the WQ-G designation solves, by adding a cutting assembly ahead of the impeller inlet that shreds fibrous material into pieces small enough to pass through cleanly. It’s the same idea at every size, from a small 50mm farm-scale unit up to a 150mm model built for large slaughter-house volume.

Two things apply regardless of size. First, the cutting blades are a wearing part with their own inspection schedule, separate from the mechanical seal; plan for both. Second, the cutting mechanism is built for organic fibre, not rock; hard mineral debris needs screening upstream, or you’ll damage blades rather than shred anything useful.

Typical Applications

  • slaughter-house wastewater sump
  • seafood-processing plant lift-station
  • farm organic-waste disposal
  • pig-farm fibrous sewage pumping pit
