WILDEN P420 vs P430: 1-1/2″ Aluminum AODD Pumps

P420 and P430 are the same pump with different connections. Both are 1-1/2 inch bolted Pro-Flo FIT pumps with the same published performance. The only real decision is how the pump connects to your pipework.

Before you choose, check these

• Connection. P420 has NPT threaded ports. P430 has ANSI flanges. Match whatever your existing pipework uses.
• Weight. A threaded P420 ships at 46 to 56 lb (20.9 to 25.4 kg) depending on the build. A flanged P430 ships at about 62 lb (28.1 kg).
• Performance. Both list 130 gpm (492 L/min) maximum flow, 125 psi (8.6 bar) maximum air pressure, solids up to 0.25 inch (6.3 mm) and 18.2 ft (5.5 m) dry suction lift.
• Temperature. The rubber builds we checked are rated 32 to 175 °F (0 to 79 °C).
• Diaphragm. There are eight materials across the range, including Bunalast, a Buna-based option for oils.
• Option suffix. Five P420 builds carry the /0651 suffix. Include it when you order.

In numbers: PSG lists 17 aluminum P420 builds and 6 P430 builds. If you are replacing a pump, the nameplate tells you which one you have: the model name is the first part of the code, for example P420/AAAPP/EPS/EP/EP on build 04-14193.
