With the P1, the question we hear most is not about size but about the diaphragm. PSG lists 20 aluminum P1 builds with six different diaphragm materials: Santoprene, PTFE, Buna-N, EPDM, Hytrel and FKM. The choice changes more than chemical resistance.

PTFE resists almost every chemical, but it is stiffer, so Wilden runs it with a reduced stroke. That costs a little flow and suction lift. A rubber diaphragm gives full stroke and slightly better performance, as long as it is compatible with the liquid.
This is only a starting point. Send us the liquid, its concentration and temperature, and we will check the compatibility before you order. All P1 builds are 1/2 inch NPT with center ports and handle solids up to 0.06 inch (1.5 mm).
