The T15 is a 3 inch Turbo-Flo pump that tends to stay in service for a long time, so a rebuild is often a better answer than a new pump. When one is opened up, the same handful of parts is usually involved.
Diaphragms come first. They flex on every stroke and they are what fails. While the pump is open, the valve seats and check balls get checked, because a worn seat makes a new diaphragm look like it isn’t working. On the air side, the air valve, center block, shaft and its seal tend to go together: a scored shaft wears the seal, and a tired air valve makes the pump stall mid-stroke.
The build code tells us which elastomer kit you need. On 15-10001, for example, it reads T15/AAAAB/BNS/BN/BN, so the diaphragm, balls and seats are all Buna-N. The 31 aluminum T15 builds are spread fairly evenly across FKM, Buna-N, Santoprene and PTFE, so never assume.
If you are buying new instead: Wilden rates that build at 232 gpm (878 L/min) maximum with 120 psi (8.3 bar) air, 18 ft (5.5 m) dry suction lift and a 10 to 180 °F (-12 to 82 °C) range. Its example duty of 140 gpm (530 L/min) against 2.1 bar (30 psig) takes about 136 Nm³/h (80 scfm) at 4.1 bar (60 psig). It weighs around 116 lb (53 kg), so plan for lifting.
And for the record, it is 3 inch, not 4, whatever some older listings say.
