The P.025 (often written P025) is the smallest air-operated diaphragm pump in Wilden’s aluminum range. It is a 1/4 inch clamped Pro-Flo pump with a maximum flow of 5 gpm (19 L/min), and it is usually chosen for dosing, sampling or small transfer jobs where a larger pump would be oversized and hard to control.
Using build 00-9729-R as the example, Wilden publishes these figures:
Maximum flow 5 gpm (19 L/min) at up to 125 psi (8.6 bar) air pressure
Inlet and discharge 1/4 inch NPT, both on the side of the pump rather than in the center
Solids up to 0.02 inch (0.5 mm), so the liquid must be practically clean
Dry suction lift 10.67 ft (3.3 m). The XP.025 page lists a wet suction lift of 30.5 ft (9.3 m)
Operating temperature 40 to 175 °F (4 to 79 °C) for these builds
Shipping weight about 6.25 lb (2.8 kg)
Two limits are worth knowing before you order. First, the very small solids passage means a P.025 is not a pump for slurries or dirty water. Second, its flow drops quickly as the discharge pressure rises, so check the duty point against the curve rather than the maximum flow.
There are 11 aluminum builds in total: 7 P.025 and 4 XP.025, with Santoprene, PTFE or Buna-N diaphragms. If you are replacing a pump, send us the full code from the nameplate and we will match it exactly.
