Wilden AODD Pump Handles Any Fluid – From High Viscosity to Abrasive Slurries

The Wilden air-operated diaphragm pump is renowned for its ability to handle virtually any type of fluid. It can pump high-viscosity liquids such as paints, adhesives, and resins, as well as highly corrosive acids and alkalis. It also handles wastewater containing solid particles, abrasive slurries, and shear-sensitive fluids without damaging the product.
Because the Wilden pump has no tight-fitting internal parts, solid particles can pass through the pump without causing damage. Abrasive and viscous materials can be pumped easily without compromising the fluid’s characteristics. The pump can run dry and self-prime without risk, making it ideal for intermittent pumping applications.
The pump body and diaphragm materials can be selected from a wide range of options including aluminum alloy, cast iron, 316 stainless steel, Hastelloy, polypropylene, PVDF, carbon-filled acetal, and PTFE. This flexibility allows the pump to be customized for specific chemical compatibility and temperature requirements.
