The QBY air operated diaphragm pump​ is a versatile tool in environmental protection and wastewater treatment facilities. It is used for pumping sewage sludge, industrial effluent, oily wastewater, chemical waste, leachate from landfills, and contaminated groundwater. The pump’s ability to handle high solids content, variable viscosity, and aggressive chemicals makes it indispensable for both municipal and industrial wastewater operations.
One of the key advantages of the AODD pump​ in this sector is its ability to run dry without damage. This is essential for applications like sludge holding tank emptying, where the pump may continue operating after the liquid level drops. The pump’s self-priming capability allows it to draw liquid from pits, lagoons, and below-grade sumps without additional priming equipment. The pump can also be fully submerged for underwater operation in collection pits and wet wells.
The pneumatic diaphragm pump​ is also used as a feed pump for filter presses, centrifuges, and other solid-liquid separation equipment.
