Pipeline Centrifugal Pumps & CDL Multistage PumpsHigh-Rise Water Boosting with a CDL(F) Multistage Pump: Worked Example
Working out the head for a high-rise booster pump and choosing a CDL(F) build: a 25-floor example at 16 m³/h, step by step.

Model: ISG, IRG, IHG, ISW pipeline pumps
The mechanical seal is the part a pipeline pump wears first. What shortens its life, when to use a wear-resistant seal, and why to keep a spare.

Where the shaft enters the casing, a mechanical seal keeps the water in. Two flat rings, one turning with the shaft and one fixed, run against each other on a thin film of liquid. When that film fails, the seal fails.
For water with fine particles, a wear-resistant mechanical seal can be fitted. Say so when ordering, as it is chosen at production.
A spare seal is the most useful part to keep on the shelf. Buyers who order one with the pump turn a leak into a short repair instead of a wait for parts.
