The heart of every GNWQ pump is its spiral cutter impeller, cast from hard alloy. Two design details make it clog-proof. First, a unique backward tilt angle on the vanes stops long fibre from wrapping around the hub. Second, as the impeller spins, rags are forced into a spiral release groove, peel off the impeller into the volute, and are pumped straight out.
