Vibration Isolators for Vertical Pipeline Pumps

A vertical pipeline pump stands on a small foot directly under a heavy motor. Without isolation, its vibration passes straight into the floor and the pipework, and from there into the building.
| Pump size (examples) | Isolator in our catalogue |
|---|---|
| DN25 to DN80 frames | SD41-0.5 |
| DN100 and DN125, larger impellers | SD41-1 |
| DN200 to DN250 | SD41-1 to 4 × SD61-1.5 |
| DN300 to DN400 | 4 or 6 × SD61-2 to SD61-3 |
The exact isolator is set by model, because it depends on the weight of pump and motor. We supply them with the pump on request.
Get the most from them
- Combine isolators with flexible pipe connectors, otherwise the vibration simply travels through the pipes
- Support the pipes on their own hangers so the pump is not carrying them
- Bolt the isolators down so the pump cannot walk
