Solutions for Vibration, Noise & Overcurrent Faults of YW Submerged Pump
  1. Pump Vibration & Abnormal Noise
Fault Causes: Pump shaft bending, bearing wear, unbalanced or damaged impeller, coupling concentricity deviation, loose anchor bolt, pump cavitation.
Repair Methods: Straighten or replace pump shaft and bearing; redo dynamic-static balance for impeller or replace new impeller; adjust coupling alignment and fasten bolts; optimize inlet pipeline to eliminate cavitation condition.
  2. Motor Overcurrent During Operation
Fault Causes: Medium density/viscosity exceeds design standard, pump shaft bending & bearing severe wear, impeller rubs pump body inner wall, low head operation with excessive flow leading to motor overload.
Repair Methods: Switch to matched power motor or dilute medium; replace worn shaft and bearing; adjust impeller clearance; close outlet valve properly to control flow within rated range.
  3. Pump Cannot Start Up
Fault Causes: Power disconnected or low voltage, motor phase loss, impeller stuck by foreign objects, damaged bearing blocking shaft rotation.
Repair Methods: Inspect power supply, fuse and circuit wiring; clean solid debris stuck in impeller channel; calibrate pump shaft and replace damaged bearing assembly.
All faults can be avoided by regular daily maintenance and standard startup operation specification of YW liquid-submerged sewage pump.
