Product Overview

When dirty water only has to go a short distance and not very high, ZW50-20-12 is the efficient pick: 20 m³/h at 12 m head from a 2.2 kW motor.

Typical jobs are emptying a pit, a septic tank or a pond into a drain or a truck nearby, and moving wastewater between two tanks on the same level.

Where it is not the right pump

Twelve metres is the rated head. Push it up a long or narrow discharge line and the flow will fall well below 20 m³/h. For more head at this flow, ZW40-20-15 gives 15 m and ZW50-20-35 gives 35 m.

Like every ZW model it sits above the liquid, so the lowest level must stay within 5.5 m of the pump. For deeper pits, a submersible sewage pump is simpler.

Discharging into a wide hose? The outlet can be made larger than DN40 on request, which also lowers the friction on short runs.
