Why the P800 is chosen so often
It is the 2 inch plastic pump with the widest choice of diaphragms, including 45 PTFE builds
PVDF is available, which the clamped P8 does not offer
Some builds have combination flanges that accept both ANSI and DIN bolt patterns, useful when the pipework standard is mixed
The PS800 gives more listed flow and slightly better lift, and is a little lighter. As elsewhere in the range, its Pro-Flo SHIFT air system is aimed at lower air consumption on long running hours.
PVDF adds about 30 lb (14 kg) at this size, so plan the base and handling accordingly.
