Wilden P.400 1.5-inch AODD Pump — Genuine & In Stock

Ask a plant engineer why they moved up to a 1.5-inch pump and the answer is usually the same: the 1-inch couldn’t keep up. The P.400 is the size you reach for when a tank has to empty faster, or a filter press needs feeding without someone babysitting it.

Mechanically it’s the same honest Wilden design as the smaller ones — no seals to leak, no prime to lose, and you can throttle it right down or stall it against a closed valve without hurting anything. What changes is throughput. There’s simply more of it.

Most of the P.400s we ship go into bulk chemical transfer or press feed, often on fluids that are thick, gritty, or both. Body choice does the heavy lifting: aluminium or stainless for solvents and fuels, polypropylene or PVDF when the chemistry turns nasty — with a PTFE diaphragm for broad resistance, or Santoprene for the longest life on water and mild media.
