Product Overview

A cast iron pump in corrosive water tends to fail in a familiar way: rust on the casing, an impeller that wears thin, flow that drops year by year. Replacing it with a stainless steel pump removes the cause.

Matching the old pump

  1. Read the old nameplate for flow, head and power.
  2. Measure the outlet size and note how the discharge pipe connects.
  3. Check the supply voltage and phases.
  4. Describe the water, including salt or chemicals.

If the old pump was around 10 m³/h and 24 m on 380 V, QX10-24-1.5S is a direct match on duty. Its outlet is 50 mm. If your pipe is a different size, an adapter usually solves it; send us a photo and we will advise.

What changes

The whole pump is precision cast stainless steel, 304 or 316, with a stainless closed impeller, fluororubber double mechanical seal and a Class F motor with thermal protection. In salt water order 316, which the manual rates for pH 2 to 13.

Typical Applications

  • replacement of corroded pumps
  • seawater and brine
  • process water
  • aquaculture
