Product Overview

With QX10-40-3S the QX series moves into higher heads. It delivers 10 m³/h at 40 m from a 3 kW three-phase motor. That is enough to lift water from a ground-level tank to the roof of a building of many floors, or push it along a long transfer line.

Above this, the 10 m³/h line continues to 52, 62 and 72 m. Below it, QX10-34-2.2S covers 34 m on less power.

Before you choose it

  • Confirm the total head includes the pipe losses, not just the height
  • Use a discharge pipe and fittings rated for the pressure at 40 m
  • Fit a non-return valve so the water column does not run back through the pump when it stops
  • Size the cable and switch for a 3 kW motor

Construction is the same as the smaller models: precision cast stainless steel, closed stainless impeller, fluororubber double mechanical seal, Class F motor with thermal protector.
