Salt water ruins cast iron pumps quickly. QDX10-24-1.5S is built entirely from precision cast stainless steel, and in 316 grade it is suited to seawater and brine; the manual gives a pH range of 2 to 13 for 316.
Hydraulically it gives 10 m³/h at 24 m head from a 1.5 kW, 220 V motor, through a 50 mm outlet. That covers filling tanks in a fish farm, moving brine between ponds or supplying seawater to a process.
The seals are fluororubber (double-end mechanical seal plus radial O-rings). A PTFE mechanical seal is available if the liquid also contains chemicals.
Keep within the usual limits: 5 m maximum depth, 60 °C maximum, fine solids only.
