QX6-14-0.55S Stainless Submersible Pump: Seals and Spare Parts

QX6-14-0.55S delivers 6 m³/h at 14 m head from a 0.55 kW, 380 V motor through a 40 mm outlet. Like every pump in the series, its life depends mostly on the seals.

How it is sealed

Between the pump and the motor sits a double-end mechanical seal with fluororubber elastomers. Fluororubber radial O-rings seal the joints in the casing. Together they keep the liquid out of the motor in difficult water.

The fastest way to wear out a seal is to run the pump dry or in water with grit. Keep solids at 0.2 mm or less and stop the pump when the water runs out.
