Choosing a GNWQ cutter pump comes down to four questions. Answer these and you can shortlist a model before you even call.
1. How much flow?
GNWQ flow spans 10 to 300 m³/h. Small premises and single homes need the 10–25 m³/h models; municipal mains and large facilities want 100 m³/h and up. Pick a flow comfortably above your requirement.
2. How much head?
Head runs from about 10 to 25 m — measure the vertical lift plus friction in the pipe. Tall buildings and long runs need the high-head models (e.g. the 65GNWQ40-25-7.5 at 25 m); shallow pits are fine on 10–12 m units.
3. What supply — 220V or 380V?
The smallest pumps run on single-phase 220 V for domestic use; from about 2.2 kW up they are three-phase 380 V. Match the pump to the power available on site.
4. What’s in the sewage?
For mixed urban waste, the standard municipal cutter disc is ideal. For dense farm and slaughterhouse effluent, ask for the livestock disc. Tell us your medium and we’ll confirm the right disc.
