One practical advantage of the GNWQ design is its easy-remove cutter disc. Instead of scrapping the pump when the cutting parts wear, you simply swap the disc — and you can fit a different disc to suit the job. There are two main types: a municipal version and a special livestock/farm version.
That flexibility lets one pump body serve very different duties. A municipal disc suits mixed urban sewage; a livestock disc is shaped for the dense fibre and bedding of farm and slaughterhouse effluent.
A note on setup
After changing the cutter disc, set the gap between the impeller and the cutting plate to 0.1–0.25 mm. That clearance is what gives clean cutting and long blade life, so it’s worth getting right.
Applications: municipal sewage, livestock and poultry farms, slaughterhouses, mixed urban drainage, biogas-tank de-sludging

GNWQ Submersible Sewage Cutter Pump Model Code Definition
The details that decide how long a sewage pump lasts are easy to overlook on a spec sheet. GNWQ pumps are specified to survive: bolts and lifting rings in SUS304 stainless steel (not ordinary steel th…
Two claims get made about a lot of sewage pumps: full head and no clogging. The GNWQ range actually delivers both. Its hydraulics are tuned so the pump reaches its rated head across the duty range — a…
A cutter pump is only as good as its blade. GNWQ pumps use a high-hardness alloy cutting head rated at Rockwell 48 HRC and above — noticeably harder than the ordinary steel found in many competing pum…
