Tannery effluent is one of the most punishing wastewaters in industry: chemically aggressive with chromium, sulphides, lime and acids, and physically loaded with hide trimmings, hair, flesh and fibre. It corrodes and clogs at the same time, which rules out most pumps.
The 65WQ45-17-4S is specified for that severity — precision-cast SS304 against the chemistry, 45 m³/h at 17 m head on 4 kW through a 65 mm outlet, and the 48 HRC alloy cutter to shred the hide and fibrous solids that would bind an ordinary impeller in minutes.
