“P220” on its own is rarely enough to quote from. There are 94 aluminum P220 builds, and the difference between them is written in the code on the nameplate. Here is how to read it, using 02-11372 as the example.
The nameplate on that pump reads P220/AAPPP/TSU/TF/ATF/0695.
P220 is the model: a 1 inch bolted pump in the Pro-Flo FIT Series
AAPPP describes the materials of the pump body, center section and air side
TSU, TF and ATF are the diaphragm, valve balls and valve seats, in that order. On this build the diaphragm and balls are PTFE
0695 is a factory option package. You will also see 0677, 0697 and a few others
That last group is the one people leave off, and it is the one that causes wrong orders. Two P220s with different suffixes can look the same on the shelf and still not be identical.
What this build can do
For 02-11372, Wilden’s published figures are 44 gpm (167 L/min) maximum, 120 psi (8.3 bar) maximum air pressure and solids up to 1/4 inch. Inlet is 1 inch NPT and the discharge is 3/4 inch. Because this build uses a reduced-stroke PTFE diaphragm, its dry suction lift is only 11.4 ft (3.5 m), and its rated temperature range is 40 to 175 °F (4 to 79 °C). A rubber diaphragm build will behave differently, which is one more reason to quote from the full code.
