15-6850-08 is the inner piston back-up washer on the Wilden T15 (position 18), made from mild steel — small, cheap, and easy to skip by mistake.

15-3210-55-225 is the PTFE Glyd Ring sealing the T15’s shaft at the center block. A high-wear part on any pump running heavy duty cycles.

Part 15-3210-55-225 is a PTFE Glyd Ring that seals the T15’s shaft where it passes through the center block, used across Wilden’s 3″ Pro-Flo and Turbo-Flo pumps. That shaft slides through it thousands of times an hour on a pump running continuously, which makes this one of the harder-working seals in the whole air end.
When it wears, the symptoms rarely point straight at the seal: falling output and pressure, air use creeping up, air escaping around the center block or through the muffler, cycling that turns sluggish or uneven. It’s easy to chase the wrong fault if this part isn’t on the suspect list from the start.
Three things decide whether a new seal actually lasts: check the shaft first, since a scored shaft will chew through a fresh seal fast regardless of seal quality; clean the bore completely before fitting anything; and keep the seal edge away from sharp threads or burrs as it goes in. Plenty of maintenance teams build this into every scheduled rebuild on busy pumps instead of waiting for symptoms to show up first.
While the center block is open for the seal, it’s also a good time to check the center block gasket for compression damage — both parts usually get replaced in the same visit.
